It contains mature sexual content in The King's Men (#3) and also deals with very mature topics. There's explicit violence — torture scenes.

This volume contains no explicit sex, if that is what you are asking. It does, however, deal with matters of drug use, excessive violence, strong emotions, and other sociopathic behaviors. In that sense, it might deserve the NC-17 rating, but by the MPAA standard probably would not receive it. More likely it is PG-13 or "parental advisory."
