I'm thinking about trying the Sword of Truth series, and I'm wondering if I should start with The First Confessor, or with Wizard's First Rule. What does the Goodreads community suggest?

I got hooked with books 9-11 (Chainfire Trilogy), filled in with First Confessor, and then started with Wizard's First Rule. Definitely pick up First Confessor before you head to the Third Kingdom.(less)
