Horror for Newbies

I'm thinking about trying the Sword of Truth series, and I'm wondering if I should start with The First Confessor, or with Wizard's First Rule. What does the Goodreads community suggest?

I personally liked filling in those plot gaps as I went and I'm not sure that I would've had the same experience had I already known everything about Magda Searus. If I were you, I'd start with Wizard's First Rule! Enjoy!
