I am in the process of self-publishing a picture book on hunger and what it does to kids through Halo Publishing International. It's called Oliver's Hunger Dragon, and it starts like this:
"Oliver has a secret he doesn't want to share. He has a dragon, and it follows him everywhere."
In addition to Oliver, I am doing the final revisions of my first action/adventure upper MG novel set in 1883 Arizona. The MC is a 14 year old boy who sets off on his own to track down the animal responsible for his mother's death.
