Rainy Day Reads
asked:
What was Rhys going to do if Feyre married Tam? He said he didn't release her from the bond b/c he knew Tam would lock her up. If she had married him and she eventually fell for rhys, what could have been done? married to Tam but a Mate to Rhys? I don't get Rhys logic in being drunk-depressed on wedding day, she was "happy," which he knew she wasn't, but keeping the bargain to check on her for eternity?

I think on the off chance that Feyre would have gone through with the wedding Rhys would not have said anything about the mating bond to her, he would have kept his distance like he did for those three months after under the mountain but he would have definitely kept a track of her and her well being and when he would have eventually seen that she was not getting any better he would have called in the bargain and taken her with him for a week.
From what I know of Rhys he would never have strived to jeopardize Feyre's marriage with Tamlin...he cares for Feyre way too much for that.
The story even if the marriage had happened I guess would have unfurled in the same way as it did in ACOMAF.
