A friend tried the audio version of this book and said the narrator was so bad she returned it unfinished. Anyone else listened? Any thoughts? I do not do the audio books so have no opinion.

I have listened to the entire prey series and the gruffness and raspyness is just great for me. He changes for different characters and has stayed the same: Dell, Weather, Jenkins, Letty, Rose Marie, etc. He is Lucas for me.
Lisa Scottoline used Barbara Rosenblat for her Mary DeNunzio books and changed. I was devastated but am now getting use to her current narrator. The narrator makes the book.(less)
