Is it wrong to categorize the Parasol Protectorate series as being Gaslamp genre rather than Steampunk?

Gail Carriger I believe the term is Gaslight Fantasy. And no, I'm not gaslight fantasy because there is no magic in my world, everything is understood through the lens of victorian science. I prefer teapunk, tho. That said, if there is a new genre "gaslamp" I've not heard of it.
