Hi, I see your degrees are in Am Lit and History. I wonder if you did quite a bit of theory? Your grasp of the psychological conflicts in your characters seem realistic to me & from my own theory courses I remember looking at those aspects of characters in works we studied. If so, you do a marvelous job of taking the idea of analyzing other characters through that lens and applying it to characters you create.

My literature and history backgrounds absolutely taught me to have a deep appreciation for the written word, character and plot development, but also an awareness of the human spirit and our inner demons and struggles. I don't have much of a creative writing education, but have become a keen observer of human nature which is vital to bringing these elements to life on the page.
