Mary Kubica Hi there! I generally had no idea where a book is headed until I'm well into the writing process. It makes me nervous at times, but inevitably once I develop the characters and delve into their lives a bit, I have an easier time figuring it out - and creating a few red herrings to keep readers on their toes!
