Hello, Caroline! I`m on my way through "HIDDEN BODIES" and this is something amazing! Now I understand the meaning of the former title "LOVE" and really thrilled to read on. I crave for your next books and wish you more fascination and aspiration in your work. You are very gifted writer and lovely woman. What books do you advise to pass the time before your next novel? Thanks!
Caroline Kepnes
Thank you so much, Evgeny. Aaah yes, it all makes sense now, right? I have been reading some terrific books lately. PERFECT DAYS by Raphael Montes is spellbinding. WHERE'D YA GO BERNADETTE made me laugh. I'M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS scared the living daylights out of me, I mean locking he doors, nightmare, tremendous tight book, that one. THE DAYLIGHT MARRIAGE by Heidi Pitlor is another smart, memorable pageturner. And I love me some Mary Kubica. Also, I have an essay in the CRUSH anthology about the summer I exchanged letters with Brian Austin Green (or his mother). Lot of great essays in that collection, Roxanne Gay and Stephen King among other amazing others, like the gifted Nicola Yoon.

I absolutely LOVED "You". I loved it so much that I read the Kindle version, then bought the audio version and listened to that and also bought the hardcover version to have it in my personal library. You could say I'm slightly obsessed! My question is: will this be a long running series about Joe? I know, I'm probably jumping the gun because it may end in "Hidden Bodies". But I'm hoping we get more and more Joe!

Thank you for these books! I found that I was unfortunately recognizing some of the characters. Identifying with that kept me feeling almost personally invested in the story line, rooting for some, despising others. Then, I saw that you were born in Hyannis, and so was I. That was when everything clicked as to why these characters resonated. Did experiences on the Cape influence your writing in any way?
