Charlaine Harris Thanks, Alicia. I love to tell people about the reading I'm doing. I just finished "Burned" by Benedict Jacka. I am a huge fan of his, and I've enjoyed all of his Alex Verus series. Verus is a magician who can see all the possibilities of his actions just a few seconds into the future, which sounds like an odd talent. It comes in very handy for him! He isn't a popular guy for lots of reasons, and he has a lot of enemies and some very interesting friends. Great books.

Hi Charlene. I know that a wooden stake in the heart will kill a vampire. I'm just curious to if they are vulnerable to it kind of like kryptonite. Like, no matter how old/strong/durable a vampire becomes would a human always be able to injure a vampire with wood? Or could it be possible for a vampire to become tough enough so that a human couldn't pierce its skin?
