There are many great books on fiction writing, so I'd start there, regardless of genre. Donald Maas, James Scott Bell, Ann Lamott to name just a few. Study the craft but the best thing is to start writing! See what comes out and edit later. Good Luck!

I like novels with depth. I've put Bridge of Faith on my Kindle because it sounds like one of those. I like your review of Life After too, so that one is also on my Kindle. I know you're busy, but could you consider checking out my novel, Zinovy's Journey? I think ZJ might have "stepped into the world of literary fiction" as well, and would like your opinion about that.
