As with most of my novels, my first spark of inspiration is usually something small, like the opening scene of the novel or a vision of a character, and the rest of the story develops as I write the novel. For Don't You Cry I was intrigued by the idea of writing about the concurrent disappearance/appearance of a woman or women, and the effect it had on others. I hope you'll enjoy it when it releases in a few weeks. Would love to hear what you think!
