What was your inspiration for Burying The Honeysuckle Girls? I loved the book!

Emily Carpenter I really loved suspense and mysteries and wanted to write one myself. One night, the central question occurred to me.... what would you do if your 30th birthday was coming up... but that particular birthday had spelled disaster or death for all the women in your family? What would you do? After I had Althea's dilemma, the rest of the story started unfolding. I didn't know what all the answers were, but her tenacity and heart were going to be the keys to unlocking the secrets and saving her own life.
