How do you get inspired to write?

Emily Carpenter I pretty much wake up in the morning inspired to write. I'd certainly rather do that than clean house, do laundry, pay bills or go grocery shopping, which are my other jobs! But maybe the word "inspired" is a bit misleading. It might be more accurate to say I am always excited to make progress on whatever project I'm working on. I don't know that I'm always inspired. Sometimes, it's just a matter of feeling happy to get a few more pages under my belt.
