How do you get inspired to write?

Vince Guzman For me, every day that I open my eyes in the morning (or afternoon) is an inspiration. There are two things that I constantly do: I am a people watcher. I am interested in the why, and play with that idea and usually a story will simply come out of nowhere. We all have little quirks or funny saying that we use all the time without even thinking about it and sometimes a stranger's idiosyncrasies will spark an idea; I also have one question floating around my mind with each breath I take...what if? It could be a serious what if or a fantastical one. Take any situation, ask yourself what if, and inspiration will strike. You will come up with your own answer. Write about it.
