How did you come up with the idea for the smaller, more intimate story in "Snowberry's Veil"?

Christopher R. Taylor It actually started as an experiment to write a fantasy story in the style of Louis L'Amour frontier fiction. I am still kind of weary with huge, epic adventures that span 18 books the size of a dictionary, and wanted to write something different.
