I recently read Six of Crows and made the same connection (which was surprising to me, because I read this book a long time ago). Six of Crows reminded me a lot of this book. The atmosphere, the mood - it's related. The two books are quite different but both have this feelgood vibe to them, where you really enjoy the banter between characters. This feeling, that the author really wants you to enjoy the ride. (less)
