Karen asked Steven M. Hacker:

Are there plans for another novel? How did you arrive at the title of The Caduceus and the Swastika? Liked the book. Easy to read and understand. It was difficult for me to put it down once I started reading it. Thank you!

Steven M. Hacker Karen,
Thank you for the very nice review and I am glad you enjoyed the book. I wrote it to be an fast pace enjoyable read using short chapters with a very interesting back story of what happened to doctors, professors, medical students during the Nazi era. I took liberties with the history to make it a thriller versus a historical text. The title specifically refers to The Caduceus - a symbol that controversially is sometimes representative of the medical profession (as this symbol is historically debated as to whether it actually represents physicians ) and The Swastika was obvious given the impact of the Nazi "physician" or "teacher" on the medical profession.
I am working on another novel but too early to discuss.
