Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Linsey Miller All right, Goodreads, I'll bite.

While driving home one winter night, I looked up at the night sky and said, "What if the moon were a celestial creature's eye?"

Which led to me designing a world in which the celestial and abysmal creatures who'd gifted magic to humans had agreed to leave the terrestrial plane to allow magic to die out and end the fighting magic had caused.

But the abysmal creatures were cunning and the door between our world and theirs is beginning to crack...
