This is kind of random but I think about your books a lot because I love them so much and have reread them a lot so I have noticed that your books feature more boys than girls in groups i.e. Noah, Beth, Isaiah; Chevy, Razor, Oz, Violet; Hayley, Jax, Kaiden; Ryan, Logan, Chris, Lacy; and Ethan, Rachel, West. I was wondering why that was and will you feature a more girl centric friends family in the future? Thank you!

Hi Erin,
I think I have a tendency to write guy heavy groups because I hung out with more guys than girls in high school and college. Without really realizing it half the time, I keep pulling from my past and my experiences when telling stories.
I will definitely think about this as I continue writing. :-)
Thank you for reading my books,
Katie

Hi Katie! I was thinking about the Thunder Road series and remembered reading briefly about a character with cerebral palsy (I think his name was Brian if I remember correctly) and I was wondering if you considered writing his story? I have cerebral palsy myself and I don't get to read a lot of books where the main character has a disability and I think it would be pretty awesome if he got to have his story.

Hi! I have another question about Long Way Home!:) So why in this book did you not include Chevy/Vi's request from Olivia? Oz and Emily's was featured at the end of Nowhere But Here and Razor's was featured throughout Walk the Edge so did Olivia not leave Chevy/Vi some of her ashes or did that just not fit into your story?
