Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Laurie Devore I actually had the idea for the Jackson character before Nell existed. My first book was a deconstruction of mean girls so the idea with Jackson was to take on the bad boy trope and write about how hard it would be to date someone where you were constantly second-guessing their motives (with good reason). Nell's character developed from there :)
