Jacob, I just wanted to thank you for getting your book to me so quickly! I only won a copy of your book Einstein's Beach House on Tuesday and I received it on Thursday. My question is has writing always been in your blood?

Jacob M. Appel Wouldn't it be great if they had a blood test for writing like they do for alcohol or glucose? But in my case, I fear my blood lines are more tinged with vodka and candy bars than with literary talent.... I come from a long, undistinguished line of illiterate peasants, delightful people who rarely had a poetic thought, let alone an urge to write. If they could see me now, I'm not sure they'd be proud...probably just confused.

I do hope you enjoy the book. I can't promise quality, but fast delivery is easy to offer.
