Maria asked Cheryl Bolen:

hello! You're a new author, to me. I just received an email announcing your new book, "Oh What a (wedding) Night". I read the excerpt, and became immediately interested. I came right here, to add the Brazen Bride Series to my TBR list. My question is: Does the series need to be read in order, or are they also stand alone books?

Cheryl Bolen Thanks, Marla, for your interest. Each book is a stand-alone, but I would recommend that before you read One Golden Ring, it would be best to read Counterfeit Countess first. (Otherwise, it takes the suspense out of reading Counterfeit Countess!) You could read Oh What a (Wedding) Night as a stand-alone. Also, there's a fourth book in the series. It's the love story of the Counterfeit Countess's bookish sister, and it's titled MARRIAGE OF INCONVENIENCE.
