What inspires you to write?

Malorie Blackman Anything and everything, from the slightest smile to the biggest world issue can inspire me. As a writer, you just have to leave yourself open to being inspired. Talking to people, reading and listening to the news, reading books, films, plays, music, making things, art - all of those things can inspire.
