Mary Kubica
Don't You Cry tracks the simultaneous disappearance of a young Chicago woman with the mysterious appearance of a woman in a small Michigan town. This was all I knew when I began the novel; I wasn't fully aware yet of who the characters would be or how the story would evolve over time, but I was intrigued by the contrasting disappearance/appearance story lines and eager to see how it played out on the page.
