I thought the ending was rushed and not well done. It left me really hanging and wondering about the father of Alice?? Was he the horrible man that killed her mother and tied alice to a tether in the forest??? And why?? There were just too many unanswered questions in this book. I felt like I wasted my time reading it but got so into the characters and then it was like drop off the cliff!!! Too bad!

It's simply not fair to the author or to readers who might be incorrectly turned off to this very good book by Hannah.(less)
