What inspired you to create the character Maggie Linden from To Win Her Favor? Do you love horses? Is she like anyone you know?

Tamera Alexander Thanks, Kellyn, for your question! I do love horses! Though I'm not at all the rider that Maggie is. Far from it (my husband would say!). But I have friends who are "Maggies" in their own right and who share their experiences and expertise with me for which I'm so grateful! Blessings from Nashville and thanks for reading!

I am currently reading To Whisper Her Name & have this nagging feeling that one of your Colorado characters visited either Belle Meade or Belmont as part of their story, perhaps Elizabeth from Timber Ridge? However, I read it back in 2014 and maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me. Did one of your Colorado characters visit one of the Southern plantations about which you later authored a trilogy?
