Sharolynne asked Lynn Cahoon:

What is the hardest part of developing a new series?

Lynn Cahoon Great question Sharolynne! For me, the hardest part was making sure the towns were distinct. South Cove - the Tourist Trap town, is all about the businesses. And a lot of people live in apartments in their buildings. Tea Cups and Carnage, the newest book opens a new business on Main Street.

In my new series, The Cat Latimer mysteries, it's all about the neighborhoods. Large, old houses, a small college campus, and a town that survives because of it. Not to mention the mountains surrounding the area and the winter fun opportunities.

I write small town stories, but all small towns aren't the same.
