Hmm. That really depends on the subject matter of the book. Obviously if I am writing a basic love story in a fictitious small town... I don't really need to spend a lot of time researching.
But for my Dark, Savages, and Henchmen series, I have had to do endless hours looking into various weapons (and how to properly use them), drugs (street names, how they are made, etc) and fighting techniques (because as much as I would love to have claimed prior knowledge, I had no idea how to get out of a "rear naked choke" until I looked it up).
My search history looks incredibly incriminating. I swear I'm not a drug dealer/ psychotic murderer lol.

Hey Jessica, I just finished reading Dark Secrets and then went on to read the Stars Landing Series and then the Investigators Series and am currently reading Into The Green. It's quite a departure from your other series which is awesome! Anyway, I wanted to ask if you have in mind to write a book about Luce? His character is so mysterious and so bloody intriguing! Thank you again for helping me escape!
