Susan Jaques
So much has been written about Catherine the Great, but surprisingly there was no biography focusing on her passions for art and architecture. She devoted a great deal of money and time to founding the Hermitage Museum and turning St. Petersburg into a beautiful neoclassical city. I wanted to tell this fascinating story.
