Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Malorie Blackman Chasing The Stars was inspired by Shakespeare's Othello which was one of the plays I had to study for A Level English back in the day. However, I wanted to write the book so that you didn't have to know the play to understand and hopefully enjoy my book.
