How do you get inspired to write?

Huntley Fitzpatrick Usually, I have an image, a picture in my head, or a phrase, or a question I'm dying to solve....that is the case for both chapters and entire books. I try to make things hard on myself...(that sounds weird, but is true). I try to picture a hero or heroine and then think of who would be the hardest person for them to fall for, and how could the course of their relationship be most challenged. I like challenge!
