Is this a good book for a women's book club. Most of the members are in their 60s?

Arlene I think it would bring some good discussion to a group of 60 something ladies. I love genealogy and I found it very sweet and inspiring. So many young people are not interested in the story of their ancestors and this little charm bracelet was a good mode of history. It made me want to ask my daughter if I could have my own charm bracelet back!!
Viola Shipman Hi, Bettye! I'm the author, and I think it's the perfect pick for your club! The novel was not only inspired by my grandmothers' charm bracelets, but also by their lives, lessons, legacies and sacrifices. It is meant as a tribute to them as well as all grandmothers and our elders. The novel is about how the charms on a grandmothers' bracelet reconnect her to her daughter and granddaughter and remind them of what's truly most important in life: Family, friends, faith, fun, love and a passion for what you do. I've been so honored and humbled by the reception the book has received. Let me know: I would love to send you and your members personalized bookplates for all your books if you choose THE CHARM BRACELET (and even Skype or call, if you're interested). And there is a discussion guide for book club members on my web site at www.violashipman.com. I love book clubs! What's the name of yours? Thanks, and truly hope you're charmed by THE CHARM BRACELET!
Kim Dickerson ABSOLUTELY! I'm going to nominate it for my bookclub for next year. We are mostly in our 50's-60's! I loved the book! Great book for discussion too.
Debra J. McClave Absolutely! This is a great read that will yield terrific discussions of family and events!

Debbie This would be an awesome book for 60+ readers - especially since they may have had a charm bracelet in their past. I am still reading this book, but it is the best one of the summer (I read about three a week). I even thought about writing the author and was amazed to see its a penname. This is a special book - at least it is to me - really hits home as it follows a grandmother, mother and daughter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Cathy I would say "yes". I would think they could and would relate.
MARGIE KRUEGER This a great read and would be super for a women's book club.
Sherrie I'm in my 60s. I love to read. This book was our book club selection this month. It was horribly written, and a complete waste of time to read.
