How to you go about soliciting school visits?

Jane Blythe Hi Beverly, I usually approach with either a phone call, email or in person visit, I explain a bit about me and my teaching history, the books and what I'm wanting to do, and if an email include links to the published books (two so far!) and things like the children's original stories. A lot of schools have their curriculum tightly packed so it can be difficult finding some that have space for you to come in and work with the kids, my hope is that through the wonders of technology I'll be able to work with schools not just in my local area (Melbourne, Australia) but also all over the world!
