USA Today bestselling author Jane Blythe writes action-packed romantic suspense and military romance featuring protective heroes and heroines who are survivors. One of Jane's most popular series includes Prey Security, part of Susan Stoker's OPERATION ALPHA world! Writing in that world alongside authors such as Janie Crouch and Riley Edwards has been a blast, and she looks forward to bringing more books to this genre, both within and outside of Stoker's world. When Jane isn't binge-reading she's counting down to Christmas and adding to her 200+ teddy bear collection!

I have not taken any formal courses in creative writing, but I've always been interested in writing and was lucky enough to have a successful writer as a teacher in school one year and he gave me tons of useful advice. To write a book you need to have a really good idea of your story, including detailed three-dimensional characters, and then get to work on fleshing out that story idea, then get to work writing! With lots of practice, and lots of work, you'll get that first book written. Try not to get discouraged along the way, writing a book is a big challenge, but absolutely totally worth it!! And always keep reading, the more you read the better you understand storytelling! (less)

Flash Fiction - Match made it to the car and went back for Maisie

Her heart broke as she watched the car speed away, but at the same time Maisie felt a sense of peace.

Didn't mean she wasn't absolutely terrified, because she totally was, but the most important thing was her little boy was safe.

She could endure whatever came next safe in that knowledge.

It would be wonderful if this was a book or a movie. If it was then Match made it to the car and went back for Read more of this blog post »

“Being strong isn’t always about winning, it's about surviving. And you did that. You survived. Now it's time to heal,”
Jane Blythe, Protecting Eagle

“You're a man who has made mistakes, who hasn’t always done the right thing, even done some things you're ashamed of, but in the end you are a good man. Remember that and move forward, don’t forget that if there are parts of yourself you don’t like, you can change them. Become better, do better, expect better of yourself. Be the person you want to see looking back at you in the mirror.”
Jane Blythe, Saving Eric
