I'm trying to read all the star wars books in chronological order, mainly using the timeline at the front of Dawn of the Jedi but this isn't on it and I really want to read. When should I be reading this?

I recommend to use the Wookiepedia (a lot) and some youtube channels like Star Wars Explained. Helps a lot and give some directions.

I am studying SW from a while to improve the RPG sessions (using the SW Saga). Totally worth it.

I almost forgot. Don´t be frustrated if at certain point you miss a point or other. SW is a work in progress and every year we have new books, episodes and movies. It changes a look. Take Phasma as example. From a small role in the episode VII to a entire (and awesome) book going to a probably good part in the episode VIII (I Hope). It is a lot.
