Deliver by Pam Godwin- Great because here not only is the heroine strong. But she is the captor. Yes its a dark read.
The tied man by tabitha mcgowan - Also dark but heroine is headstrong helps hero.
Viktor by Clarissa Wild
Blood to dust by L.J shen - also dark but god the heroine was the best tough cookie I've seen. Like game of thrones Cersie and Arya.

Bound by Hatred by Cora Reilly it's 3rd in the series, but is amazing. The main character is ver rebellious and angry at the fact that she is forced in a marriage. The whole series is astounding thoe I have to say Bound By Duty is my favorite.

Hi I'm late but for anyone else wanting the same thing id recommend the In Death series by JD Robb. The main character LT Eve Dallas is exactly like this (maybe more morally sound) . I love her. Don't be put off by the number of books in the series.

a court of thorns and roses series my favourites so far. There are a total of 4 books in the series 10000 percent recommended and bad ass females.

Very late to the party but if you're still looking for similar I've really enjoyed reading Bethany-Kris' mob series... It has mini series within, which are categorised by location (Chicago, New York & Canada). I've found that for most of the females throughout the whole series, I've not got annoyed with by because they don't follow the usual damsel in distress storyline, there's obviously still a little of that element, where they're in a difficult situation and the guy somehow is able to help, but it's not the only aspect of their character :)

You can try the elemental assasin series. It has an awesome badass female lead and you'll love it. You can also try the Alex Craft series. The female lead is a private investigator and a consultant for the police. She is also into dark magic and supernatural stuff.

Go to Listopia. Look at the righthand side under the sub-topic "Women". Click on it. Many pages of lists for women will pop up, and many of these features lists of strong women protagonists. I comb through these lists looking for books like that.

In The Company of Killers series by J.A. Redmerski.
