Hi Ruta, I recently finished an ARC of Salt to the Sea and it was absolutely stunning. I wasn't aware of what it was about until I finished it, and I was wondering; do you hope to educate people who think they're reading fiction on these 'unheard-of' events, or do you hope to attract people who already know these things - or do you just write for the love of it? In terms of targeting readers, I'd like to reach both people who are unfamiliar with the topics, and also those who are. People who know about the topics can add to the conversation and bring dimension to the hidden history.

Hi, Ruta! I'm from Romania and we have here translated Between Shades of Gray at Epica. I read your book and I cried so much and I saw a video with Salt to the Sea and I cried again. It's not a question, but I want to say that romanians are in love with your work! Are there any chances to come in Romania one day? :D
