Advice? I may be one person a lot of my friends come to for advice, but I'm not sure I'm the right person some days to give advice. My best short form advice? Simple! Just write and get it down. Write your first draft without editing. Get every idea down. When you're done your first draft, then go back and revise the heck out of it, before you even begin to edit.
