Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mina Harker Cactus. Cactus came up with the arranged marriage and Vincent, and Adela had been lurking around in my head for a while (though she was an alchemist and a lot taller at the time). When they came together things just clicked and the insanely complex plot for Bienvenue emerged from that. It's one of the reasons we don't spend a lot of time on their courtship. They have so, so much more to do.
