What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Aaron Simms Don't worry too much about the first draft. With anything I'm writing, I just try to get words on paper, so to speak, and worry about making it "pretty" later. Sometimes I'll even skip sections which I know I need to add later, making a note in the manuscript for myself to add information later. My main goal is just to get my thoughts down and then work on making them flow better during further revisions. For my first book, I think I rewrote it 3 or 4 times.
