I've watched season 1 of The Expanse. Is it still a good idea to read this novel after doing this, or does the series spoil the novels plot too much?

I saw The Expanse, got hooked, watched the whole season, and then decided to read the book. I just finished Leviathan Wakes and thought it was fantastic. Miller and Holden are phenomenal characters that are done much better in the book as well, which was a nice surprise. The show also helped form my imagination of the story as I was reading it, which was an interesting touch.

Fair warning though, Amos is much better in the show.(less)
