Part of the answer is a bit of a spoiler for Splintered, so steer clear of this first part if you haven't read Splintered!!

***SPOILER for book 1***

The real name of netherlings cannot be spoken with any tongue other than by a netherling who's dying and intends to curse the one responsible for her demise, aka Deathspeak. So unless Alyssa were to die at Morphues's hand, she couldn't speak his real name or know it. Deathspeak is a power that comes just in that instant of vulnerability before the victim's last breath.

Since Netherlings' names are made up of life forces, and are not translatable by any human language, we ourselves will never get to hear/ learn it, since we are all human. ;)
