Loved the Broken Empire Series. One of my all time favorites! Wondering how the Red Queen's War relates in terms of timeline. The Dead King is in the first book of the Red Queen, but I felt the Dead King was ended in the Broken Empire. Are these series concurrent or consecutive? Or are they really not closely related at all? I read the first book of the Red Queen's War but was frustrated not understanding this.

(view spoiler)[Hi Christa.
I'm confused by the question :)
The series have to be either concurrent or consecutive, and neither imposes any constraint on whether they're closely related.
But my confusion arises from the fact that in Prince of Fools Jalan sees Jorg and the brothers in the tavern scene from Prince of Thorns, then goes to Jorg's family home and speaks with Sageous and Katherine in the aftermath of Jorg's return.

Thank you for both The Broken Empire and The Red Queen's War. I've enjoyed your writing more than anyone else's ever! I love this world that you have created and so I am concerned. Is this the end? I was really hoping for another amazing trilogy within it but all of my questions have been answered and it seems that everything is wrapped up. Please tell me you have more plans with this world. What comes next?

Hello, Mark! Huge fan. Possibly against my better judgement, I began the Broken Empire series at the very edgy age of 13. I finished the Broken Empire Trilogy and The Red Queen's War trilogy all within the month of July of 2016. I absolutely love both characters, though I identified with Jalan more. Which of all your characters (Jorg, Jalan, Nona) have you enjoyed w riting about the most? Forgive me if this was asked.
