Hello, Mark! Huge fan. Possibly against my better judgement, I began the Broken Empire series at the very edgy age of 13. I finished the Broken Empire Trilogy and The Red Queen's War trilogy all within the month of July of 2016. I absolutely love both characters, though I identified with Jalan more. Which of all your characters (Jorg, Jalan, Nona) have you enjoyed w riting about the most? Forgive me if this was asked.

Mark Lawrence Well, those aren't all my main characters - you've missed out Yaz (Book of the Ice) and Nick (Impossible Times). I think I had most fun writing about Jalan, with Nick coming second. Jalan - being funny - is fun to write about and I'll admit to laughing at his antics. Nick was fun since writing in 80s London required many trips into my own teenage memories.
