Lorene Shyba As a publisher, my best advice for aspiring writers is to make a collection of submission guidelines from publishing companies in their field. These companies have undoubtedly researched their market and know what their readers want. By reading their mission statements and expectations, you will get a much better idea of what is marketable, because writing is much more than a solitary consolation.
