A Goodreads user
A Goodreads user asked Jacqueline Winspear:

I adore Maisie Dobbs! Do you ever wish you could give her clues or advice before it unfolds for her?

Robert Foster
Robert Foster asked Jacqueline Winspear:

How do you manage to bring such apparent authenticity to your novels? Is it research, personal family history, all of that, or are you perhaps an immortal that has lived for a couple of centuries and just writes about it :-D ??

Jennifer
Jennifer asked Jacqueline Winspear:

I am always curious as to how authors come up with their story ideas. Can you tell me how you came up with the idea for your new book? I'm also interested in why you've chosen WWI (and just following as with the Maisie Dobbs series) for your time period? And how much research do you do for each of your novels?
