I finished Reign, accidentally started Cash, stopped because I realized I was supposed to read Monster first and now I'm in the middle of Monster. I love it but I have a question; does Shane have his own book? Because it feels like I'm supposed to know something that I'm not knowing and so I'm wondering if I skipped another book I was supposed to read first.

Jessica Gadziala I get this question ALL the time. Here's the deal: we met Shane (and the rest of the Mallicks) VERY briefly in "For A Good Time, Call..." briefly enough for me to say there's no reason to read it first. But I loved the whole family and decided to write their stories.

I started with Shane and had the book 3/4 done when the file got corrupted and I lost it. It was in Shane that we actually met Reign and Cash. But I was so devastated about losing the book that I just decided to move on and start Reign instead of re-writing Shane's story right then.

I do plan to go back and write Shane's story this year and, in the timeline, that would put Shane's story starting about a week before Reign. But the Mallick stories, aside from existing within the same area and maybe having an overlapping character here and there, will be a completely separate series.
