How do you deal with writer’s block?

Julia Buckley Power through. Generally I find the good ideas don't flow UNTIL I sit down and start writing. Something opens up in the brain the minute we lift a pen or touch a keyboard, but it remains closed until we start the process. One of those mysteries of the brain and the way language functions, I guess.
